prayer time

We had a church wide prayer thing today and so I had a 30 min. time slot that I had to pray for. I realized it has been too long since I have prayed for that long. but one of the things I started thinking about was our ability to make mistakes. I thanked God for the ability to make mistakes and learn from them. If not for Jesus we would not have that option and still have hope for a future. So thank you God for the ability to mess up and still recover.

Her Mouth Is Just For Eating

Last night we were coming home from worship practice at Church and R. was telling us something one of the kids said. I am still not sure what she was talking about, but she said "crap" several times. It is not a particular horrible word, and one that I find myself using ocassionally, but inappropriate for such a little girl, none the less. Anyways...we told her that "crap" was not a word for little girls to say. She was asking about whether B. could say it or not and then she said, "She's too little. Her mouth is just for eating."

Finally

Finally I have convinced Kris that we should have a family blog. A place for pictures of the girls and a place to let everyone know what is going on in our little world. Expect regular updates soon.
